This beautiful part protects the junction between the exhaust and the cylinder, creating and reinforcing a compact protection in case of impact on the exhaust. The owners of KTM and Husqvarnas who already broke their exhaust flange know what it means: end of the race, and often seizing of the cylinder. The way to prevent this from happening is with the cylinder saver.
The surface is anodized, bright enough to decorate your bike. But please care the guard’s color will fade under long time high temperature enviornment.
